Leaders of the most important and influential organizations in the country will share their knowledge about how in 2017 conservatives can change the world – and get it done quickly. Starting on June 16, the Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) will bring together the Heritage Foundation, Judicial Watch, Susan B. Anthony List, Americans for Prosperity, Breitbart News, and other leading groups to show attendees what they can do for the cause of liberty.
The CLC will be June 16 and 17 at the Marriott Crabtree Valley in Raleigh. To see the full conference schedule, click here.
The two-day CLC will probe the most important ideas and developments in North Carolina, the United States and the world. Among the key offerings:
A surge of populist action over economics and immigration is roiling politics, including the presidency of Donald Trump. Our keynote speaker Friday, Nigel Farage, led the Brexit movement in the UK, and he will explain the anger that led to Brexit and what this worldwide movement will bring us next.
One of CLC’s most exciting 2016 presentations was Brandon Darby’s revelations about what is really happening on our Southern border. This year he’ll again draw on his experiences as Breitbart Texas’ managing director to bring attendees facts the mainstream media ignore.
The defense of conservative social values has never been more important. CLC will feature Ann McElhinney, a journalist, and film producer and director who made a powerful presentation at last year’s CLC. She is co-producer of “Gosnell,” a movie about America’s most prolific serial killer, abortionist Kermit Gosnell.
CLC will also feature a free screening of “Gosnell” open to the general public. To learn more and sign up for free tickets, go to the main CLC web site.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the Susan B. Anthony List, will discuss how conservatives can pursue policies and elect candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion.
Finally, J. Scott Moody, director of the Family Prosperity Initiative, will explain how the decline in the overall social well-being of Americans also threatens their economic future as well.
Washington politics have never been so divisive, and CLC will give attendees an inside look at what’s going on and what conservatives can do to help.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton heads the leading public interest group that investigates government corruption and works to ensure that government officials do not abuse the powers entrusted to them. At CLC, Fitton will bring us up-to-date on what’s really going on in DC.
Congressman Mark Meadows (R-11) has been playing an increasingly important role in defending conservative policies, especially in repealing Obamacare. He’ll help attendees understand the real story of what’s happening at the Capitol, and where conservative forces can go from here.
Congressman Mark Walker (R-6) is chairman of the Republican Study Committee, the large conservative caucus of the House GOP. A former pastor, he is also the co-chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus. He is superbly equipped to provide us the insights needed to advance the freedom agenda.
North Carolina is facing crucial decisions in how to support and expand conservative victories, while facing opposition from liberal politicians and judges.
State Treasurer Dale Folwell will tell us more about the longterm challenges to North Carolina’s fiscal health, and what can be done to keep NC prosperous.
Hans von Spakovsky, manager of the Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative, will explain more about how to defend our state’s embattled election reforms.
Civitas President Francis De Luca will draw on a lifetime in state politics to illuminate the issues conservatives across the state are facing.
Former Gov. Pat McCrory will be on hand to provide his insights on North Carolina politics and government.
Second Amendment rights remain crucial to our safety and freedom.
State Rep. Chris Millis is one of the leading voices for conservatism in the North Carolina General Assembly. Paul Valone is executive director of Grass Roots North Carolina. At CLC they will offer an incisive defense of citizens’ right to bear arms.
Conservatives have great opportunities but face daunting obstacles in today’s volcanic political scene. A range of CLC speakers will help out with practical advice, historic perspective, and galvanizing inspiration.
Historian Amity Shlaes is the author of four New York Times bestsellers, and a leading expert on how conservatives have triumphed in the past.
Dave Johnson is director of training and curriculum at the Grassroots Leadership Academy, which trains concerned citizens to make a difference at the federal, state, and local levels.
Lawson Bader is president and CEO of DonorsTrust, the only fund committed to supporting and promoting the principles of liberty.
Cliff Maloney Jr. is president of Young Americans for Liberty, which fights back against the assault on free speech now troubling campuses all over the nation.
